RAC Car Harness
Most people would not think twice these days about using a seatbelt in a car, nor of using child seats for our kids. But then what of our dogs? For some reason we tend to forget about the safety of our best pals when taking them anywhere in our cars. But then stop for a moment to think about this. If they are unsecured in your car and you suffer an accident or a collision, then they are going to be thrown about the inside of the car and injured just the same as you or I would be if we were left unsecured. And worse still, they could end up injuring you or your kids in the process.
Thankfully someone has thought long and hard about this problem. The RAC have designed a range of safety harnesses for dogs. These are easy to fit, come in small, medium and large sizes, and will keep your dogs safe when transporting them in your car.
We use the small version for our Bichon Frise, and it works just fine.
